Everyones a kid no one cares about .
You just have to keep screaming until they hear you out.
Oh it’s written in the stars a million miles away, a message to the main.
The seasons come and go but I will never change and I’m on way.
Mirror Cube Treehouse
This is one of the 4 tree houses of an eventual hoped 24 in Northern Sweden.
Treehotel looks like an absolutely gorgeous place to go and stay with 4 tree houses all with a different, modern design. I absolutely wish to go stay here with the option of the Sauna and biking and kayaking and cosying up in a unique room.
This Postcard blog has a lovely little article about it and some more pictures.
Going the Rex cinema this evening, late Birthday present for a friend who has just returned from her gap year. It is an absolutely gorgeous cinema and the seats are so plush and comfy.
This is what it used to look like it has now been refurbished and is a unique cinema.
Sexy sexy Swedish long race map from World Universities.
Mona Lisa Smile I love the look of this film and the whole independence Julia Roberts tries to give them.
I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, some of the best comedy on the BBC if you ask me!
Whilst trying to find the name of this cocktail I saw advertised on the Ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm. It was called Kalinka on the ferry but when I searched Kalinka I did not find the same drink. The ingredients are Vodka, Cranberry, Lemonade and Apple syrup. Sounds yummy to me! But whilst searching to find the name I came across a Basil North which is an intriguing mix of Vodka, Apple Juice, Lemon and Basil. I now quite fancy a cocktail making evening when I return to uni!
So I am very interested in chemistry and the environment, and that is where I see a possible future but I am becomingly increasingly interested in the chemistry behind cooking, probably due to my love of food and cooking!
Today I made bread rolls, they look yummy and smell yummy but are for tomorrow so it is all very tantalising!
The making is very easy, just add a tablespoon of oil to 500g flour and a teaspoon of yeast, make a well and add warm water a little at a time until you form a dough.
The next bit is slightly harder work, knead for 15-20 minutes until the dough is like putty and easy to stretch. It’s tiring work but just think of the toning it’s doing to the arms!
Then leave to rise for a couple of hours in a warm place. Separate the dough into balls and put on a greased baking tray. Put this in the top oven above the oven which has been turned on to about 180 degrees celcius. Leave to prove for half an hour. Then bake for 15-20 minutes until the colour looks golden and appetising.
For a crunchier crust brush with melted butter before placing in the oven.
Sprinkle seeds on the outside or combine in the dough for a more nutritious bread.
